 Featured Letterpress Wedding Invitation Of The WeekBelissimo - Italian Style Wedding Invitations The featured letterpress wedding invitation set this week is Belissimo Seal. 'Belissimo' simply means beautiful in Italian. The pattern is not large but is probably the most intricate design in our current product range. The Belissimo has been one of our all time most popular stationery designs but email us and vote for your favourite or let us know what sort of patterns and designs you'd like to see! Belissimo is shown with the full 'Seal' on the invitation and RSVP as opposed to the half seal of it's siter design Belissimo 'Eclipse'. This is a very clean and uncluttered design and very elegant. For those of you who prefer the minimalist approach so vogue these days this will be the perfect choice of wedding stationery.
Belissimo wedding invitations are accompanied by envelopes with a matching emboss through the crease of the flap, this shows half the design on the back and half on the front of the envelope so you always see the pattern. We've displayed the letterpress invitations here with powder blue envelopes that support the Alice Blue ink we've used for the text. As always don't forget we have forty six ink colours or we can match a colour you like, and you could use contrasting colours as well (see our ink colour guide).
The Belissimo pattern enhances the embossed effect really well and allows us to go really deep yielding a wonderful richness. The depth we achieve is unmatched but patterns have to be carefully drawn & designed to achieve this sort of effect so they don't burst through the paper in the manufacture process. But it's not only our embossing that is this quality, our letterpress is second to none with sharp crisp inking.
In the blow up shot of the design you can get a clearer idea of what it actually feels like on the finnished article, but photography just can't do the products justice especially not on the internet. So don't forget if you'd like a closer look the best way is to order a sample and you can do this through the new 'Wedding Invitation Sample Service' that we launched recently. The invitation set is finished with a single deckled edge, this particular deckle is laced as opposed to torn and has a very fine feel allowing the light to pass through it. (This is normally done when the paper is being made). We have designed our own system to reproduce the lace deckle on any edge and you can chose which deckle you like or If it's not required just say so on the order form.
